Undead Month - Day 2

 

Rotting and decaying hay covers the ground of this 25x40 ft. room. Bolted to the southern wall are 3 wooden fences that create what look to be long abandoned stables. There are two simple wooden doors affixed to the northern wall, the one leading back to the hub room in the western corner and one presumable leading further into the dungeon in the eastern corner.

In the south-east corner is a much larger stable, here a shadow resembling a former cavalry rider can be seen tending to his warhorse skeleton. The rider and the horse are non-combative unless provoked. The horse will protect its rider at all costs.

DC 5 Arcana check on the Warhorse's body reveals that the dust of the bones is coated with necrotic energy and can be used in necromantic spells and rituals.

DC 10 Arcana check on the Warhorse's body reveals that the horse hooves contain a strong collagen that can be used to make a sticky adhesive used by many craftsmen.

DC 15 Arcana check on the Shadow's body reveals the mist can be captured in an enchanted vial providing a critical component for anyone wanting to travel to the Shadowfell.
